How long does it take to make a custom coin?
A custom moulded coin, medal, pin, etc., requires 5-6 weeks for production. The design and proof stage can add another 1-2 weeks, so plan on allowing up to 8 weeks for the entire process. Factors that can impact the length of production time include the complexity of the design, the quantity of the order, shipping method, and the time of year that feature holidays.
How much does it cost?
Every project is custom to the client's needs and unique making it difficult to provide a typical cost for our products. We can provide you with a cost estimate after an initial consultation to determine your preference on design style, size of coin or medal, color, quantity, and the length of time we have to deliver the order s some shipping methods are more economical. We built our business by providing the best quality products at the most advantageous cost for our clients.
Do I need artwork made or can you help me with design my project?
Many customers have their own artwork made in-house, but we provide full service design services to help you turn your vision into a reality. Often we can start designing your project after a short consultation. We may request a basic sketch and images from your search to help us understand what you are envisioning.
How is my order shipped to me?
All of our custom coins and medals orders are shipping directly from our factories in China. Shipping is done with FedEx, UPS, and DHL Shipping length depends on destination usually 5-7 business days. Large orders are shipped by ocean freight and required 6-8 weeks. Import or Duty Fees vary in each country, and are the responsibility of the receiver and not included in our shipping fees.
What if I want more of a previous order?
Set-up fees are usually a one-time charge and moulds last up to 5 years before needing to be replaced. Edits to previous orders, no matter how small, may require changes to the mould and require additional mould charges. Typically, ordering a repeat of an existing design is much faster and can be done in half the time of the initial order.
Do you guarantee your work and delivery?
We stand by the craftsmanship of our work and should there be any defect in your order, or variations from the approved proof, we will replace the defective items immediately at our cost. We accept orders if we determine there is sufficient time to produce and ship the order before your required date. We cannot anticipate delays in shipping out of our control, and the customer acknowledges this is not our responsibility. We encourage our customers to begin your order process at least 8 weeks before the anticipated in-hand date.
When do I have to pay? How can I pay? And can I get a refund?
We require payment in full before your order is placed into production. We accept most major credit cards and checks. We can also accept payment through PayPal and Venmo. Once the order production commences, we cannot refund any portion of your order. We also do not take back any unused portion of your order.
I have a sample of a coin I want to remake, can you do this?
We often can recreate a coin or medal from a sample or high quality images as long as the customer has ownership of the design for us to use.
I want to make a coin with a logo or image, can I do this?
We can produce any type of artwork if the customer owns the intellectual property rights of a logo or image or the object is within the Public Domain. In some cases we are unable to use certain images due to Copyright laws.
What is the minimum or maximum number of medals or coins I can make?
We can produce order for 1 coin up to a million plus. We offer some economical options for customers wanting to purchase just 1 or a few coins or medals. The UV printed coins and medals are excellent quality alternative options for small batch and more economical options.
